Syrian tribes and clans forum voices support for national options

Activities of the Forum of Syrian Tribes and Clans kicked off on Monday in the Syrian city of Deir Ezzor to voice support for national options and the war on terrorism and to express rejection of all forms of occupation.

The final statement of the forum stressed the Arab tribes’ adherence to national principles, their support for the Syrian Arab Army in its war on terrorism and their rejection of all forms of occupation.

The forum sent a message to President Al-Assad in which they pledged  their  allegiance. They said that the   people of Deir Ezzor would remain loyal soldiers to their  country, Syria, and to the Syrian leadership which is the only party that can achieve safety of the country.  In his speech, the governor of Deir Ezzor, Fadel Najjar, highlighted the role of the Syrian tribes and their national stances during the war on Syria, noting that  holding  this forum is an expression of loyalty to Syria, its army and leadership, and support for the upcoming presidential elections.

 

Judge Reem Al-Sakr sent a message to the international community and world public opinion, calling for condemning the American and Turkish invasion of Syrian lands, theft and plundering of its wealth. She also called for  assistance  in the return of refugees and displaced, and to pressure America to stop its unilateral coercive measures against the Syrians.

In statements to SANA, a number of participants indicated that the forum came to emphasize the national constants and support for  the Syrian Arab Army. Sheikh Nawaf Al-Bashir, Sheikh of the Bakara tribe, confirmed that this forum is a message to all Syria’s enemies that we, the tribesmen, reject terrorism and occupation and the plunder of our homeland’s wealth. We support the unity of the Syrian soil and we are united with the Syrian Arab Army, which is fighting terrorism. Our choice  for the presidential elections   is President Bashar al-Assad, who represents the national guarantee for Syria, Sheikh Al-Bashir confirmed.

The sheikh of the Bukhabur tribe, Fawaz Al-Wakaa, indicated that Syria, which stood firm in the face of terrorism and defeated the forces of evil, is able to proceed in the liberation of all of its soil. He asserted that all sons of the tribes adhere to preserving the unity of the Syrian lands.

Sheikh Kamal Al-Jarrah stated that popular resistance in all its forms is the way to expel the occupiers and preserve the unity of Syria.

In turn, the sheikh of the Albu Saraya clan, Muhanna Al-Fayyad, pointed out that the tribesmen will continue to adhere  to their homeland, calling on everyone who left the homeland to return and contribute to the reconstruction of what has been ravaged by terrorism.
