Cairo,(ST) – Syria’s triathlon player, Adnan Zaki, won the bronze medal in the Arab Championship, which was held in Egypt and concluded last night with the participation of nine Arab countries.
The Syrian Players, Mohamed Masso and Mohamed El-Sabbagh, won the second and third places in the African and Arab Cup, which took place earlier this month in Egypt.
The head of the Triathlon Federation, Nasser Al-Sayed, said in a statement to SANA that, “this participation comes after a break from foreign and Arab participations, and it motivates our Syrian players to achieve better results.”
Al-Sayed indicated that the federation is working to intensify the participation of the national team players in more foreign tournaments in the second half of this year, and they will be approved later to be represented later in the participation in the Asian Cup in the last three months of the year.
