Syrian Trading at Expo Syria: Marketing surplus of agricultural products to foreign markets

Throughout its participation at Expo 2024 for Syrian exports, the Syrian Trade Establishment seeks to export the surplus  of agricultural products with the aim of supporting the local product and opening additional foreign markets.

The Director General of the Establishment, Ziad Hazza, explained in a statement to SANA that their participation in the exhibition includes displaying all agricultural products of local vegetables and fruits, in addition to tropical fruits produced by the coastal region and all kinds of legumes.

According to Hazza, the Establishment is displaying within its pavilion at the exhibition, products for a number of development projects to support and market them.

Hazza pointed out that the institution is working to export surplus of agricultural products and end the obstacles facing farmers due to the abundance of the local product and its low prices, thus supporting the local product internally and externally.

Hazza added that the Establishment owns a fleet of modern refrigerated vehicles and regular trucks to transport agricultural and animal products inside and outside the country.
