Syrian team won 8 medals in World Masters Championship in South Africa

JOHANNESBURG, Oct.12, (ST)-The Syrian bodybuilding team won 8  medals on the first day of its participation in the World Masters Championship held in South Africa.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the player Ali Qabnad, in the Masters 2 category, won the overall gold and the bench press gold. He also won a silver in the deadlift and a bronze in the squat.

The player, Mohamed Ghazi,  won the golden medal in breaststroke, silver medal in overall, silver medal in  squat, and a third silver medal in the Master 2.
