The two wounded players of the Syrian national team, Azzam Al-Ahmad and Abdul-Rahman Hamroush, added two new silver medals to our team participating in the West Asian Paralympics Games currently being held in Bahrain.
These two medals are added to the gold one won by the wounded Khalil Mahmoud in the throwing competition, the gold and bronze medals won by the wounded Firas Shiha in the badminton competition, , the silver medal won by the wounded Amer Sammour, and the bronze one won by Issa Hassan.
Seven hundred male and female players with special needs will participate in the tournament, representing 12 teams competing in seven sports.
The “Homeland Wounded” project is participating for the first time with the Syrian national team for special sports in the tournament.
