Syrian team win 2 medals and certificate of appreciation in the International Biology Olympiad

DAMASCUS, JUL.13, (ST)- Students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad won a silver and a bronze medals, and a certificate of appreciation in the International Biology Olympiad, which was organized by Kazakhstan  between 7 and 14 July, with the participation of 800 students from 80 countries.

The Excellence and Creativity Authority said in a statement, released today that the silver medal was won by the student Kenan Al-Kanjo from Aleppo Governorate, while the bronze one was won by the student Muhammad Haidar from  Lattakia Governorate, and the certificate of appreciation was won by the student Miqdad Al-Ali from Homs Governorate.

The authority indicated that the Syrian team, who are participating in this Olympics is headed and supervised by Dr. Abdel Samie Hanano and Dr. Antonius Al-Daoud.

Last year, the Syrian Scientific Olympiad won two bronze medals and a certificate of appreciation.
