Syrian team takes bronze, 4 certificates of appreciation in IPhO 2022

DAMASCUS, Jul.17, (ST)- – The Syrian Scientific Physics Olympiad team won a bronze medal plus 4 certificates of appreciation in the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2022) hosted by Switzerland.

In a statement released on Sunday, the Excellence and Creativity Commission said that a bronze medal was won by the student Ammar Wael Ali from the “Younis Bilal” School in Lattakia, while certificates of appreciation were gained by the students Salman Muhammad Aji , Alaa Munther Hussein, Ammar Yasser Ragab ,and Mahmoud Zaher Ayroud .

375 students from 75 countries participated in this Olympiad, where the competitions included theoretical and practical tests.
