On March 17th, Syria’s teachers affirmed their quest to push their Syndicate’s projects towards optimal investment, face the conditions created by the war, and make all efforts to serve teachers.
The Teachers Syndicate issued a statement on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
The Syndicate said that teachers will protect the minds of students from cultural and intellectual invasion and build a promising generation full of purity of thought and love of work.
The Syndicate valued the great attention paid by President Bashar al-Assad to the education sector and the laws that were issued. These laws had the greatest impact on the developments of the educational process, especially Law No. 38 on vocational and technical education.
The Syndicated said that theLaw No. 38 constitutes the stimulating environment necessary for sustainable economic development and keeping the productive and technological process in the labor market.
On the third Thursday of March, Syria celebrates Teacher’s Day, while most countries of the world celebrate the International Teacher’s Day on October 5, with the aim of drawing attention to the teachers and their role in building societies and the work conditions.
