Syrian Students Rally outside Russian Embassies in Several Countries to Thank Russia for Backing Syria’s War on Terrorism

CAPITALS, (ST)- The Syrian students in several countries around the world rallied outside the Russian embassies in these countries as to thank Russia for supporting Syria in its war against foreign-backed takfiri terrorism.

The participants carried pictures of Presidents Bashar Al-Assad and Vladimir Putin in addition to placards on which phrases expressing appreciation for the Russian supportive stances towards Syria in the confrontation of terrorism were written.

In Iran, Australia and Lebanon, the Syrian students handed the Russian ambassadors in these countries thank-you letters, stressing that Russia has made a brave decision by supporting Syria in the fight against terrorism.

They asserted that Moscow has adopted a firm supportive stance towards Syria since the beginning of war on the country and that it has affirmed the need to combat terrorism and launch inter-Syrian dialogue to solve the crisis.

They asserted that all, particularly in the West, have realized the wisdom and farsightedness of the Russian policy, especially after terrorism has begun to invade their countries.”

Participants in the rallies clarified that the Russian anti-terror operations in Syria have demoralized the takfiri terrorists and their supporters and have uncovered that America and its allies are not serious about fighting terrorism and are not also able to accomplish their mission without coordination with the Syrian Arab Army.
