Syrian students in Slovakia: Terrorism in Syria, Elsewhere has Nothing to do with Islam, Religion

BRATISLAVA,(ST)_ Syrian students in Slovakia strongly condemned the terrorist acts committed by Daesh terrorist organization in Syria, Kuwait, Tunisia, Iraq, resulted in killing and wounding hundreds of innocent people, stressing that these crimes are part of a perpetrated scheme to disseminate discord and division in the region.

In a statement yesterday, the students expressed great resentment and condemnation for crimes committed by takfiri organizations, especially Daesh terrorist organization against innocent civilians, especially in the holy places of worship.

The students stressed that terrorists of atrocities in Syria, Kuwait, Tunisia and elsewhere, have nothing to do with Islam nor any religion, because assaults against places of worship “mosques and churches” and religious figures are but assaults against humanitarian values, conscience, and cultural heritage.

The students stressed that Syria is the cradle of civilization and land of prophecies, history, tradition and national humanitarian role that make it targeted by all enemies of the Arab nation, and humanity.

The statement explained that the heroism of the Syrian people, brave army and leadership reveals Syria’s steadfastness and clear vision, expressing hope that the ordeal experienced by Syria will be eliminated and Syria will remain powerful and unified, stressing Syrian students firm stand in support of their homeland under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad and Syrian army, until ultimate victory is achieved.
