Syrian Students in Slovakia: Resolving Crisis Requires Pressure on Countries Supporting Terrorism

BRATISLAVA, (ST) _ Syrian Students in Slovakia renewed their position in supporting the political leadership, led by President Bashar al-Assad in finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria and the fight against terrorism and condemned the killing, destruction and vandalism crimes committed by the terrorist organizations.

In a statement yesterday, they voiced support for the 2nd inter-Syrian consultation meeting to be held in Moscow to resolve the crisis in Syria, noting the importance of concerted efforts of all loyal Syrians to deal with terrorism, which is the main cause of the crisis,to promote national reconciliation and to provide conditions for dialogue and the exchange of views and ideas away from foreign interventions.

They called on the participants in Moscow’s consultative meeting to implement the principles adopted in the first consultative meeting under the name of “Moscow principles”, which stipulate respect for Syria’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, the need to combat international terrorism and to find a political solution to the crisis in Syria, reject any form of foreign intervention and the lifting of sanctions on Syria.

They stressed that the success of any political process, is coupled with efforts at the international level to put pressure on countries supporting terrorist organizations to change their position and stop all forms of support for terrorism.

They highly valued the Syrian leadership vision since the beginning of the crisis and the steps taken by the Syrian government for the success of the political initiatives to reach this goal, foremost national reconciliation.

“If other parties since the beginning of the crisis had adopted the Syrian leadership vision and things would have not come to what we have been reached, “ the statement said, regretting that there are parties and regional and international countries created obstacles against this vision in the service of American Zionist, and Gulfagendas.
