Syrian students in Slovakia reaffirm their support for their homeland in the face of terrorism
The Syrian students studying in the Slovak universities and institutes have stressed their support for their homeland in the confrontation of terrorism and the conspiracies and challenges facing the country.
In a statement marking the 59th Anniversary of March 8 Revolution, the students said that the Syrian people, who triumphed in 1963 in their revolution led by the Baath Arab Socialist Party are the same people who have been fighting side by side with the Syrian Arab army in the battle against terrorism and its supporters over the past 11 years.
They reiterated Russia’s right to protect its national security and defend itself and its citizens against any threats. They affirmed their support for Russia due to its right stance and legitimate right to defend its security in the face of the west’s hostile acts.
