Syrian students in Serbia: Russia has the full right to defend itself

Belgrade (ST): Syrian students and members of the Syrian community in Serbia affirmed that Russia has the full right to defend itself against the attempts of the United States and Western countries threaten its national security and stability.

This came during a visit by a delegation of Syrian students studying in Serbia and a number of members of the community to the headquarters of the Russian Embassy in Belgrade and their meeting with Russian Ambassador Alexander Bortsan Harchenko to express their support and solidarity with Russia in its special military operation to protect the civilian population in the Donbas region.

Ambassador Harchenko expressed his thanks and appreciation for this valuable initiative and affirmed his country’s right to defend its security and citizens, pointing to the depth of friendship between the Russian and Syrian peoples, which was reinforced by the two countries’ response to the terrorist and economic war waged against them.

The Russian ambassador also praised Syria and its people, who did not forget his country’s support for him, and today they are expressing his solidarity and honorable standing with Russia and its people.
