Syrian students in Egypt participate in the celebration of International Student Day

Cairo, (ST) – A delegation from the Syrian Students Union in Egypt participated in the celebration of the International Day, which was organized by the Future Private University yesterday, with the participation of student delegations from several countries.

Participation in the event included the opening of a distinguished pavilion where shows were performed (including traditional songs and dances)  .In addition, traditional arts, traditional crafts and folk dishes were depicted.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Junaid, the Head of the National Union of Syrian Students, Egypt Branch, said that “the Syrian student delegation presented an honorable image of Syrian students who always affirm that they are the ambassadors of the nation wherever they are.

Al-Junaid also added that Syrian students presented heritage models that confirmed the depth of civilization that characterizes Syria.

In turn, Dr. Tariq Al-Masry, the Head of the Office of Forums and National Action at the Syrian Students Union, Egypt Branch stressed the importance of participating in the event because of its important role in promoting and supporting cultural and social awareness and enhancing relations between international students from different countries and nationalities.
