Tehran, Cairo (ST): Syrian students studying in Iran renewed their support for their country in its war against terrorism and its tools, and in facing the challenges and the terrorist war .
During a ceremony held by the Iranian branch of the National Union of Syrian Students at Caspian International University on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Independence Day, the students stressed the continuation of their studies and educational attainment to return and actively contribute to the reconstruction process.
The head of the Union branch, Dr. Hussam Al-Salama, said that commemorating this memory is a national duty so that it remains alive in the memory of successive generations, stressing that the Syrians who achieved victory at that time are also able today to defeat the enemies of Syria, colonial schemes and terrorism.
In Cairo, the National Union of Syrian Students, Egypt Branch, reiterated the students’ support for their homeland and people in adhering to the national principles and confronting the terrorist war and the unjust siege imposed on Syria.
The union said in a statement on the occasion of the seventy-sixth anniversary of the Independence Day, “Syria the proud Syria, whose sons defeated all kinds of colonialists, continues to confront the terrorist war and the unjust siege imposed on it by various colonial and arrogant countries.”
