Syrian students in Cuba denounce the unfair siege imposed by the “SDF militia,” on Hasakah and Qmeshli cities

Havana (ST): Syrian students studying in Cuban universities and members of the Syrian community in Cuba denounced the unfair siege being imposed by the “SDF militia,” in partnership with the American occupation, on locals in the cities of Hasakah and Qameshli.

In a statement, the students and members of the Syrian community in Cuba affirmed that these practices are immoral and constitute a war crime and a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and human rights, calling on the international community to move to lift the siege on Hasakah and Qameshli and to stop terrorist attacks against their families.

They stressed that the bet of the “SDF militia” on the American occupier is a losing bet, and this is what has been proven by experiences and history in the region, reiterating standing behind their steadfast people, brave army and wise and courageous leadership.

The students and members of the Syrian community in Cuba pointed out that nobody would be able to overcome the will of the Syrian people who throughout history have been able to defeat all forms of aggression and colonialism.
