Syrian students & community in Tunisia celebrate the success of the presidential elections and President al-Assad’s re-election

Tunisia (ST): Members  of the Syrian community and the branch of the National Union of Syrian Students in Tunisia, in cooperation with Tunisian National Societies, held an event to celebrate the success of the presidential elections and the victory of Dr. Bashar al-Assad as President of the Republic.

During the event, the participants congratulated the Syrian people for the new victory achieved through the completion of the elections despite the efforts of Syria’s enemies to obstruct them through pressures and sanctions, stressing the continuation of work under the leadership of President al-Assad for the reconstruction of Syria and expressing their pride in the great victory that emerged in the results of the presidential elections.

They praised the victories achieved by the valiant Syrian Arab  army in striking all forms of conspiracy and terrorism to consolidate security and stability in all parts of the country.

The participants in the event raised the Syrian and Tunisian national flags, calling for restoring relations with Syria and breaking the unjust siege imposed on it, pointing out that Syria is the first line of defence for Arab sovereignty and dignity.
