Syrian Students Abroad Protest against Trump’s Declaration on Occupied Syrian Golan

CAPITALS, (ST)- Syrian students in different countries of the world, including Egypt, Russia, Moldavia, Cuba, Serbia and Algeria, on Saturday held rallies to reaffirm their solidarity with their homeland Syria against the West’s conspiracies, most recent of which is US President Donald Trump’s declaration in which he recognized the Israeli entity’s “sovereignty” over the occupied Syrian Golan.

The rallies were held marking the 69th Syrian Arab Student Day.

Participants in the rallies stressed that the US administration’s attempts to target Syria’s unity through illegal procedures pose serious threat to international peace and flagrantly violate the international law.

They reiterated that these attempts won’t change the historical facts that Golan is a Syrian Arab land and it will return to the Syrian sovereignty sooner or later, noting that this is a firm sacred right that no power on earth can cancel or give up.

The Syrian students vowed loyalty to the homeland in the fight against occupation and terrorism and in the process of reconstruction.
