The Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Suhail Abdel Latif, said in a statement to reporters that every exhibition held in Syria shows a new development in local industries in light of the investors and companies’ orientation towards the local product, pointing out that the presence of contracting companies and others for the production of building materials is an opportunity for direct communication between them and the beneficiaries.

In turn, Minister of Industry Ziyad Sabbagh saw that the Syrian industry has moved from the case of using the imported machine to the manufacturing of the machine, which is considered a milestone in its path, indicating that the government is working in an integrated and serious manner to overcome all difficulties and remove obstacles for industrialists to advance this sector.

The Minister of Electricity, Eng. Ghassan Al-Zamil, pointed out that the Syrian industrialist was able, despite the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, to move from the normal industries in terms of energy to the manufacture of production equipment in the field of alternative energy, with high quality and levels of panels, solar heaters and generating sets, which proves the development of the production wheel in the field of electricity and energy.
