Syrian Sit-in in Italy, Supporting Syria against Terrorism

ROME, (ST) _ The Syrian community in Italy holds next Thursday a mass sit-in, before the Italian Parliament with the participation of the European front to defend Syria under the slogan “No for terrorism, Yes for defending Syria and preserving the Syrian cultural heritage.”

In a statement yesterday,  President of the Syrian expatriate association Dr. Jamal Abu Abbas said that during the sit in, which is the second of its kind during the war of aggression on Syria,  a message will be extended from the Syrian expatriates and the European Front for the Defense of Syria to the Italian parliamentarians,  demanding support for Syria in its fight against “Daesh” terrorist organization,  reopening of embassies between the two countries and the preservation of the Syrian archaeological sites.

The statement pointed out that the message conveys warning by some Italian parliamentarians of the consequences of “Daesh” arrival to Italy and Europe in general, if it is not eliminated in Syria.
