The festival is launched under the title “The Film is Me, the Land is Me, We Remain Faithful”, as the opening ceremony of the festival included an artistic performance and the presentation of two short films, in the presence of a number of artistic and cultural figures.

The theme of the new session of the Mediterranean Cinema Days focuses on “Pollution, Natural Resources, Climate Change and Biodiversity”, which is a theme chosen to be the theme of the short film competition at this festival.

The current session of the festival includes a 72-hour filmmaking competition and a best picture competition, in addition to a large group of film screenings and a training workshop in acting in front of the camera that will be held at the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts in Gabes.
