Tartous Governorate honored the five winning students in the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in the fields of science, physics, chemistry and informatics at the governorate building.
The Governor of Tartous, Lawyer Safwan Abu Saada, indicated in a speech that the winning students raised the name of their country high by their superiority and scientific excellence, and they stand for the future of the country and its bright hope.
Director of Tartous Education, Ali Shahoud, believed that the honoring of outstanding students is a reinforcement of the state of excellence in various scientific fields, which distinguished the governorate of Tartous in the Syrian Scientific Olympiad competitions. This is in addition to the fact that 32 male and female students obtained the full mark in the stages of education.
The honored students pointed out the importance of scientific excellence and its role in building the nation, especially at this stage. The students saw in the Olympiad a moral impetus to continue their education as well as a source for scientific experience.
