Syrian Scientific Olympiad team participated in online IChO 2022 in China

The Syrian Scientific Olympiad team participated in the online International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2022, which was organized by China on Wednesday, with the participation of 320 male and female students representing 86 countries from around the world.

The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated in a statement, published by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), that the competition in the annual International Chemistry Olympiad in its 54th session was limited to one test held for 5 continuous hours, during which students worked to find solutions to 9 problems that dealt with chemistry in its branches (organic, inorganic, general, analytical, nano and electrical).

It is noteworthy that this is the 13th  Syrian participation in this annual global Olympiad.

At the same time, the Syrian Mathematical Olympiad team is participating in the 63rd World Mathematical Olympiad hosted by Norway, while the Syrian Scientific Olympiad for Biology is participating in the 33rd World Biology Olympiad held in Armenia, as well as the physics team in the World Physics Olympiad, which is organized by Switzerland.
