Syrian-Saudi meeting in Doha aims to support Syrian pilgrims

Ashhad Al-Salibi, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport, discussed with Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, President of the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation, ways to enhance cooperation in the field of civil aviation. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the ICAO conference held in the Qatari capital, Doha.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation explained via its Telegram channel that the meeting addressed mechanisms for developing strategic partnerships between Syria and Saudi Arabia in the aviation sector, which would contribute to raising levels of air safety and security and improving facilities provided at airports.

During the meeting, the issue of Syrian pilgrims was discussed and the importance of providing them with the best transportation services during the upcoming Hajj season was emphasized to ensure their comfort and safety.
The need to strengthen cooperation between the two authorities was also affirmed.
