Syrian Salhani scores incredible back-heeled volley in Jordan

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Mutaz  Salhani, the promising Syrian footballer who is currently playing for the Jordanian club of Wahdat, was named by the well-known British newspaper the Daily Mail as the top 10 best players thanks to his amazing goal against Ramtha in the Jordanian premier league in 2014.

“this goal is so unique that it is actually quite hard to describe. Salhani was running forward and was halfway into the Ramtha half before a chipped through –ball was seemingly played too far behind him,” said the Daily Mail.

The London-based paper added: “Wahdat forward was not put off, however, and stuck his right leg behind his body, flicking the ball into the air and it flew over the top of Ramtha keeper and into the net from 25 yards”.
