Salad with Za’atar

  Ingredients

   1 cup diced tomato

   1 cup diced cucumber

   1/2cup thinly sliced red onion

    4 cups Lettuce, chopped

    1/4cup minced parsley

    1/4 cup minced fresh mint or 1 Tablespoon dried mint

    2 cloves garlic, grated

   1/4 cup olive oil

   1/4 cup lemon juice

    2 Tablespoons za’atar

    salt and pepper

preparation:

 1- Place tomato, cucumber, Lettuce,  parsley, onion, and fresh mint in a large salad bowl

 2- Squeeze juice of one lemon around the bowl, add the garlic over the salad.

 3- Drizzle salad with olive oil and lemon juice, then sprinkle with za’atar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

 4- Gently toss the salad together. and serve.
