Syrian-Russian talks for cooperation in the scientific and technical fields

Damascus (ST): The Syrian-Russian Joint Committee for Cooperation in the Scientific and Technical Field discussed ways to develop joint cooperation relations in the fields of science, technology, innovation and priority areas of scientific and technical cooperation and the possibility of holding competitions for joint scientific and technical projects.

The participants in the online meeting chaired by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, reviewed the agenda of the session, which also includes many topics related to cooperation in the field of technology transfer in the agricultural, food and health fields, and in the field of nanotechnology and biotechnology.

Minister Ibrahim praised the historical relations between Syria and Russia, stressing that Russia is a real partner for developing and strengthening cooperation in all fields, especially in the scientific and research field, expressing the ministry’s desire to achieve the desired results from the meeting and to translate what will be reached on the ground.
