The “Made in Syria” Exhibition in the Iraqi capital Baghdad continues to attract visitors and traders from different parts of Iraq amid satisfaction over the quality of the exhibited products.
The visitors affirmed that the exhibition has contributed to reactivating the Iraqi markets which have witnessed a slowdown since the spread of the Corona pandemic.
Al-Sa’edi, an Iraqi trader, said that the Syrian products are highly competitive in the Iraqi market compared to the goods imported from other countries in terms of quality and price, adding that these specifications explain the turnout of Iraqi traders for ratifying different importation deals with Syrian industrialists.
Other visitors admired the exhibits and called for holding a permanent exhibition for these Syrian goods in order to meet the need of Iraqi customers.
Anas Al-Kayali, a participant in the exhibition, high turnout affirms the fact that the Syrian industry is still enjoying the trust of people despite the pressure and the blockade Syria has been exposed to. He pointed out that the Iraqis know well the value of the Syrian products as they suit their test and meet their need.
Sinan Dadiyeh, a trader, and Maysa Mohammad, an industrialist, hailed the high turnout of Iraqi visitors despite the current difficult health circumstances due to Corona virus pandemic, calling for more interaction between Syria and Iraq.
The “Made in Syria” 10-day Exhibition kicked off on July 25th in Baghdad with the participation of a hundred companies as well as food, textile and chemical trade brands in addition to 170 Syrian traders and industrialists.
