Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shara received congratulations from the Lebanese President

The presidency of the Lebanese Republic stated: President  Joseph Aoun  telephoned Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shara, congratulating him on assuming the duties of leading the country.

The two presidents agreed to coordinate to control the situation on the Lebanese-Syrian border and prevent the targeting of civilians.
