Syrian player Majd El Din Ghazal wins the gold medal in Iran’s international competition in the high jump

Tehran (ST): Syria athletics national team player Majd El Din Ghazal has won the gold medal in the Iran international competition after scoring a height of 2.21 meters in the high jump competition.

Ghazal’s participation comes after he was stopped foreign participation for more than a year and a half as a result of the circumstances imposed by the Corona pandemic and had a great impact on training programs and holding matches and tournaments in many countries of the world.

It is noteworthy that Ghazal had qualified for the Tokyo Olympics by ranking sixth in the world rankings at the end of 2019.
