Syrian permanent mission to EU stresses the unbreakable connection between the Syrian community and the homeland
On the occasion of April festivities and within the framework of the continuous communication and strengthening of connections between the permanent mission of the Syrian Arab Republic to the European Union in Brussel and the Syrian expatriates in Belgium, Netherland and Luxembourg, the head of the mission, Ambassador Ammar Al-Irsan hosted a reception for the Syrians at the mission headquarters.
In his speech during the reception, Ambassador Al-Irsan stressed that the unbreakable connection between the Syrian community and the homeland is a national treasure to Syria and the Syrian people who are creative all over the world.
He expressed his happiness to see this unified gathering of Syrians at the headquarters of their mission.
Al-Irsan presented some projects and ideas being worked on within the framework of the public, cultural, and social diplomacy. He called on the expatriates to organize their work within their institutions in a systematic and institutional manner to ensure their continuity and success.
During the reception, expatriation affairs, the latest developments in Syria, Palestine, the region and the world, various aspects of belonging and expatriate work in the social, cultural, national and scientific fields were also discussed.
The expatriates and their institutions agreed to institutionalize their work abroad that is associated with the mission to enhance belonging and connect the Syrians and their children to the motherland, values, history and present of Syria.
The reception was attended by members of the mission, the head of the Syrian Expatriates Association in Belgium and Luxembourg, the head of the National Committee for Syrian Expatriates in the Netherlands, and a crowd of members of the Syrian community.
