Damascus (ST): Syria is participating in the activities of the 59th Venice International Art Biennale in Italy, through a pavilion that includes the works of five Syrian artists. The Syrian participation in the Biennale, which opened yesterday, came under the title “The Syrian People –  a Common Destiny,” with the works of artists Sawsan Al-Zoubi, Omran Younes, Adnan Hamida, Ismail Nasra and Aksam Talaa, in addition to the works of four Italian artists.

Syria did not stop participating in this biennial, which is held every two years because it represents the values of peace and civilized dialogue among peoples.
