Syrian parliamentarians study Moscow experience in social infrastructure development

A delegation of Syrian parliamentarians visited social facilities in the Moskovsky settlement and the Solntsevo region at the invitation of State Duma Deputy Dmitry Sablin.

Deputy of the People’s Council, head of the friendship group with the Russian parliament Bassem Sudan, his deputy, deputy of the People’s Council Safuan Kurabi, employee of the protocol of the People’s Council Majid Saud, visited school No. 1000 in the Tatianin Park residential complex, branch No. 194 of the city polyclinic No. 212 and the ice arena in Solntsevo area.

“The Syrian Arab Republic is facing a post-war recovery period. Of course, the country needs experience in the development of social infrastructure , ”said Dmitry Sablin, explaining that on the example of social facilities in New Moscow and ZAO capital, our guests saw with their own eyes that ultra-modern facilities can be rebuilt in record time with the interaction of all levels of government with developers.

The Syrian delegation also visited the Church of the First Hierarchs of Moscow in the village of Gorki Leninskiye.

“ This temple is special for me, we have been building it for almost 10 years,” Dmitry Sablin commented. – The rite of the foundation stone of the temple was performed in September 2012, and on August 29, 2021, the temple was consecrated. A great event for Orthodox Christians, this is the first church of this kind in the region . “

The parliamentarian noted the importance of the assistance that Russia provides to Syria in the process of restoring peaceful life and Christian shrines in the SAR.

“ It hurts to see the holy places in Syria ravaged by war. Now it is especially important to support Christians in Syria, to support the process of restoring Christian shrines. We will definitely help, because faith without works is dead , ”said Dmitry Sablin.
