Syrian-Omani talks were held to strengthen bilateral relations

MUSCAT, (ST)_Omani Deputy Prime Minister for the Cabinet’s Affairs Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said discussed on Sunday with Health Minister Hassan Al-Ghabbash the bilateral relations between Syria and Oman and the ways of developing them, particularly in the field of health.

According to the Omani News Agency, Al Said expressed his best wishes to the Syrian leadership and wished the Syrian people further progress and prosperity.

For his part, Al-Ghabbash expressed Syria’s appreciation for Oman’s stands that he described as supportive of all brethren.

He praised Omani government’s efforts to provide proper healthcare for citizens and residents besides the talks he held with his Omani counterpart, saying that the positive outcome of the talks will help promote cooperation between the two countries.

The talks between the two sides also dealt with current developments in the regional arena and efforts to handle them in a manner that realizes the interests of all.
