Syrian-Omani talks to enhance cooperation in the health sector

Muscat (ST): The Syrian Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Idris Maya, discussed with the Omani Minister of Health, Dr. Hilal bin Ali bin Hilal Al-Sabti, aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of pharmaceutical industries.

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed a cooperation agreement between the ministries of health in the two countries and issues related to the work of Syrian doctors in the Sultanate.

The Omani minister affirmed his country’s interest in strengthening cooperation with Syria in the health sector, praising the great development that Syria has achieved in this field, referring to the high qualifications and competencies enjoyed by Syrian doctors.
