Syrian-Omani talks in Muscat to enhance relations of cooperation between the two countries

The Syrian Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Idris Maya, discussed during his meeting with the Chairman of the Omani Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rida bin Juma Al Saleh, the relations of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and ways to advance them.
Referring to the decision of the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Dr. Muhammad Samer al-Khalil, to form the Syrian-Omani Business Council, Ambassador Maya stressed during the meeting, which was attended by the third secretary Fadia al-Boza, that this decision would push the economic cooperation relations between the two countries forward.
For his part, Al Saleh welcomed the decision of the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, stressing the strong will of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry to enhance economic cooperation with Syria, pointing at the same time to the need to make good use of the opportunities and capabilities available in both countries in this important aspect.
