Syrian national team is in first group in the decisive round of the Asian qualifiers for FIFA World Cup

The draw for the decisive round of the Asian qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which was drawn today in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, puts the Syrian team in Group A along with the teams of Iran, South Korea, the UAE, Lebanon and Iraq.

 

The second group included Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, China, Oman and Vietnam.

The first place winner and the runner-up of each group advance to the World Cup finals directly, while the third-placed winner enters the fourth round (Asian supplement).

The decisive round matches will start on the second of next September and end on the twenty-ninth of next March. Video arbitration technology will be used during the matches of this round.
