Syrian national team achieves two medals in the Tunis International Special Athletics Championships

Tunis (ST): The Syrian national team for special athletics won two gold and silver medals on the first day of the international tournament currently held in Rades, Tunisia. 

Mohammad Khalid Mohammed won the gold medal in the javelin throwing, scoring a distance of 41.68 meters in the “F57” classification, while Ali Asa’ad won the silver by throwing the disc, scoring a distance of 32.50 meters in the “F11” classification, breaking his previous record of 31.50. meters.

It is noteworthy that the international tournament comes within the preparations of our team for the Tokyo Olympics, which will be held next June.
