Syrian National Dialogue Forum Delegation in Beijing for Talks on Middle East Situation

BEIJING, (ST)-A delegation representing the Syrian National Dialogue Forum on Wednesday held the first round of talks with reserchers from the Chinese Academy for International Studies. The talks focused on the situation in the Middle East and the world.   

The delegation is on a week long visit to Beijing at the invitation of the Diplomatic Affairs Society in China.

Member of the delegation Firas Nadeem told reporters that during the round of talks the delegation stressed that “no changes occured in the stances of the countries supporting terrorism except in media statements, because these countries are still supporting terrorism, training and financing what is called “moderate opposition” and allowing terrorists to infiltrate into Syria.”

The delegation comprises Several People’s Assembly members including Faysal Azzouz, Hussein al-Ragheb and Mohammad Kheir al-Nader in addition to Secretary General of the National Youth Party for Justice and Development Barween Ibrahim, Secretary General of “The People” Party Nawwaf Trad al-Milem and Member of the Executive Bureau of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party Tarek al-Ahmad.
