Syrian National Dialogue Committee Spokesman: Conference to Address Key Issues Amid Uncertainty on Timing and Formal Outcomes

The spokesman of the Syrian National Dialogue Committee said that no decision has been taken on the date and timing of the National Dialogue Conference.

He added, “The Dialogue Conference will focus on the economy, transitional justice and the drafting of the Constitution.

The dialogue conference will focus on institutional reform and the authorities’ engagement with Syrians” “The outcome of the National Dialogue Conference will not be formal, although it is not binding.

– The results of the dialogue conference will be recommendations on which the President of the Republic will base his decisions.” He concluded.
