The Ministry of Health continues to provide medical services to arrivals from Lebanon since the beginning of the Israeli occupation aggression on Lebanon, where the number of free services reached 56,154, benefiting more than 28,000 arrivals during 26 days.
” the medical services provided through the border crossings in the countryside of Damascus, Tartous and Homs reached 28,683 services, including vaccinations, hospital services and ambulance transportation”. The ministry said in a statement which SANA received a copy of it.
The statement pointed out that the services included general medical consultations, surgical operations, emergency services, mental health services, reproductive health, and services related to people with chronic diseases, in addition to the necessary vaccines for children and the tetanus vaccine for women of childbearing age.
It is noteworthy that the health ministry, as part of the response plan to provide services to those arriving from Lebanon to Syria as a result of the Israeli aggression, has put all hospitals affiliated with the health directorates in the border governorates with Lebanon in full readiness to receive any cases, and to provide the crossings with ambulances equipped around the clock, and doctors, in addition to sending the necessary medicines and medical supplies.
