Through its official channel on Telegram, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic welcomes the statements of US President Donald Trump on the possibility of lifting the sanctions imposed on Syria and considers it an encouraging step towards ending the suffering of the Syrian people.
