Syrian men’s basketball team will meet its Bahraini counterpart in the second stage of Asian Cup qualifiers

A match between the Syrian men’s team and its Bahraini counterpart in the first match of the second stage of the qualifiers for the 2025 Asian Cup will be held tomorrow in the Bahraini capital, Manama.

Before tomorrow’s match, the Syrian team is ranked second in its “sixth” group in the qualifiers after the leading Lebanese team, as the Syrian team won in the first stage against the Emirates with a score of 78/63 points, and lost to Lebanon with a score of 78/87 points.

At the end of the qualifiers, the first and second place teams from the six groups will qualify for the upcoming Asian finals, while the third place teams will play in a play-off “of six teams” as a result of which four teams will qualify.
