Vice President of the Martial Arts Federation, Ziad Ibrahim, said in a statement to SANA: “Our team prepared for the tournament through a training camp in Damascus, and reached an acceptable degree of preparedness. The Executive Office of the General Sports Federation provided all available capabilities to secure the needs of the team to achieve a remarkable achievement in this sport”.
Ibrahim highlighted the good level of our players, as they are expected to compete strongly for the first places, especially since our athletes realized many achievements in the tournaments of this game, as the player Adnan Abdul Qader Aloush took silver in the World Junior Championships that took place in Russia last June.
