Syrian-Iraqi talks on ways to accelerate the opening of Albukamal border crossing

ST- The Syrian Ambassador to Iraq Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah discussed with the head of the Iraqi border outlets, Dr. Kazem Al-Oqabi, in the Iraqi capital Baghdad ways to accelerate the opening of Albukamal crossing border between the two brotherly countries.

During the meeting Al-Dandah affirmed that Syria had accomplished all logistical requirements to open the crossing and restore life to this important economic and commercial crossing point between the two countries.

For his part, Al-Oqabi reviewed the process of preparing the crossing from the Iraqi side, stressing that the Iraqi government is deeply interested in opening the crossing very soon to activate the movement of people and goods between the two countries.
