Syrian-Iranian talks on enhancing cooperation in various fields

On January 4, the Syrian ambassador to Tehran, Dr. Shafiq Dayoub met with the Head of the Research Center in the Iranian Islamic Shoura Council ( Parliament)  Dr. Ali Reza Zakani.

They discussed ways to strengthen cooperation relations between the two countries and promote them in various fields.

During the meeting, Ambassador Dayoubstressed the need to strengthen scientific, economic and cultural relations.

Dayoub referred to the existing cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries and expressed his hope that this cooperation will be stronger and more comprehensive in various fields .He said that  the exchange of visits for the benefit and interest of the peoples of the two countries.

Dayoub said that the future of the region will be decided through the cooperation of the axis of the resistance front.

Zakanire affirmed his country’s continued support for the Syrian people and the research center’s readiness to place all research expertise and achievements tin the hands of  the Syrian People’s Assembly.

Zakani stressed the need for the United States to leave the region and said that the response and revenge for the assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani is America’s exit from the region which will slow down its arrogant behaviour.
