Syrian Heritage Song Festival concluded at Al-Azm Palace in Damascus

Damascus-(ST)- The 3rd Syrian Heritage Song Festival, organized by the Directorate of Theaters and Music at the Ministry of Culture, concluded yesterday evening at Al-Azm Palace in Damascus.
The last evening of the festival presented the heritage of cities of Homs, Al-Quneitra, Idlib and the coastal cities of Lattakia and Tartous, in addition to the Kurdish heritage.
The festival comes every year to confirm the importance of preserving Syrian heritage songs to be a bridge between the past and the present, and the young generation’s adherence to its heritage, which was reflected in their large turnout to attend the festival’s evenings during its three days.
