In a speech marking the occasion of Glorious Easter, Governor of Aleppo, Azzam Al-Ghareeb, said “We have lived together on this land for thousands of years—Muslims and Christians—sharing both pain and hope. From the teachings of God’s prophets, a culture of coexistence, peace, and harmony was born. “
He stressed that despite the former regime’s attempts to erase these values, they have remained deeply rooted in the conscience of our people.
“To all Christians in all their churches and celebrations, we extend our heartfelt greetings. Wishing you a blessed Easter and a happy new year.” The governor said.
He stressed “We renew our commitment to citizenship and harmony, and we remain loyal to a homeland that embraces all its children with justice and equality.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Mohammad Othman, Governor of Lattakia, visited several churches in the city, accompanied by a delegation of officials and religious leaders.
This visit comes as part of efforts to promote the spirit of love and brotherhood among the people of the nation, and to reaffirm the unity of the social fabric.
He stressed the importance of continued cooperation between official and religious institutions for the benefit and security of the governorate.
