Syrian Government Providing all Facilitations to Help Displaced Syrians Return Home: Lebanese Minister

BEIRUT, (ST)- Lebanese Minister of State for the Displaced Affairs Saleh al-Gharib has stressed that Syria provides all facilitations to help the displaced Syrians, who are staying in Lebanon, return home.

In a statement on Saturday, al-Gharib said that all issues relating to the displaced people were discussed with the Syrian government in complete transparency and objectivity.

The minister pointed out that Syria and Lebanon are linked to each other by historical ties, so it is necessary for Lebanon to have distinguished ties with Syria.

 Meantime, the Lebanese Minister of State for the Parliament Affairs Mahmoud Qamati affirmed thatSyria is the basic articular which link Lebanon to other Arab countries, reiterating the need to bolester relations between the two countries for their good.

 Syria Has Become Able to Restore Its Key Regional Role: Lebanese MP

Also on Saturday, Lebanese Parliament Member Fadi al-A’war told SANA correspondent in Beirut that Syria has become able to fully restore its key role in the region after it confronted all hegemony schemes.

Al-A’war called on the Lebanese government to cooperate with its Syrian counterpart to serve the interests of the peoples of the two countries and to enhance the geographical and historical ties between Syria and Lebanon.

 On the other hand, the Lebanese MP said that the Turkish regime’s anti-Syria practices pose serious threat to all countries of  the region. He reiterated that the role played by the Turkish regime against Syria is the worst part of the terrorist war waged on the Syrians.
