Syrian Foreign Minister Welcomes Trump’s Remarks on Lifting Sanctions

Foreign Minister Mr. Assad Al-Sheibani to SANA: We welcome President Donald Trump’s recent statements regarding the lifting of sanctions imposed on Syria in response to the heinous war crimes committed by the Assad regime.

 

Foreign Minister Mr. Assad Al-Sheibani added: This development represents a pivotal turning point for the Syrian people as we move toward a future of stability, self-sufficiency, and genuine reconstruction after years of devastating war.

 

 

Foreign Minister Mr. Assad Al-Sheibani said: We view this announcement very positively and are ready to build a relationship with the United States based on mutual respect, trust, and shared interests.

 

Foreign Minister Mr. Assad Al-Sheibani said: President Trump has the potential to achieve a historic peace agreement and a true victory for American interests in Syria. He has already done more for the Syrian people than his predecessors, who allowed war criminals to cross red lines and commit inhumane massacres.”
